"My world as a place is colourful, with a childlike curiosity and innocence. It rains sometimes but the sun always comes up again." ~ Tori Rose Wright.

There’s a new interview up on my site with artist and darlingheart, Things By Tori Rose Wright! Her art celebrates femininity, nature, bodies, safety and more. LOVE you Tori !

"…it’s important to learn to handle rejection, art is subjective. There will always be people that don’t like what you do. Work hard and keep practising and improving and something good will come your way eventually. I used to be scared of going for what I wanted for fear of rejection but you won’t get anywhere if you don’t put yourself out there."

Recently I interviewed the awesome lady behind Annie Walter Design! She’s created gig/tour posters and merch for awesome bands like Boysetsfire, Bad Astronaut, Anti-Flag, Pour Habit, Army of Champions, Smith Street Band, Jurassic 5 and lots more. Get some insight into Annie’s world, art and an important issue close to her heart, animal foster care!! READ my interview with Annie: conversationswithbianca.com

I am beyond excited to share this interview with you guys today! It’s a chat with one of my favourite artists EVER Indie 184! Indie’s a graffiti artist, mother, business woman, designer, feminist & all-round amazing human being. I LOVE her creations sooo much! In our chat she said in regards to creating: “You don’t have to be the greatest illustrator, graffiti artist or visual artist out there. It’s not a competition. Dare to be different. Find your style and what makes you happy. Expressing yourself the way you like and the rest will fall into place.”

Hey friends!!!!
This Sunday I will be speaking on a panel - Spiritual Conversations with Punks - at the Zine and Indie Comic Symposium discussing two of my favourite things (as the panel title suggests) punk and spirituality!! I’ll be talking about my work (writing & zines) in general; how I got into punk, zines & spirituality; where the idea came from to talk with people from the punk community about spirituality; what spirituality is to me, and how it relates to my punk ethos and work. Plus sharing stories about memorable interviews from my Conversations with Punx project!
It’s FREE to come along. It’d be really wonderful to see you guys there and nice to catch up after the discussion…I’ve been pretty reclusive since my mum passed away and I’ve missed y’all, I’d love to see your beautiful faces! I will also have my new zine available on the day, featuring interviews with some of my favourite punks: Keith Morris, Chuck Dukowski, Ian Vanek, Wade Youman & Gary Lachman!!
Love & Light!

I got to chat with the awesome SAMSAYA for rookiemag!! She’s so sweet, positive and writes catchy songs! We premièred one of her songs “Bombay Calling”.

Music, to me, is the heart; it’s the strongest muscle we have, and the most beautiful way of seeing life and people. I don’t ever want to forget that. I paint the heart on my face before performances now as a reminder. I do it as a ritual before I get up on stage. It takes 15 minutes to draw it. Sometimes it’s little, sometimes it’s big, sometimes it’s shaky, but the whole idea is to remind myself why I’m doing this, and that I don’t need anyone else’s approval.
